What did you do with your tank(s) today?

@lloyd378 ,I have the same cats in my 46g bowfront. A small group of six that are now super skittish since I removed the two big hoplo cats. I thought the cory cats were fairly long lived catfish? Just looked it up and 'its typically five to ten years'. lol, was kind of vague info on the good old internet.

I saw about 5-6 at aquarium paradise today, I thought about them, but they are seriously 1/2 the size of my two remaining corys. Maybe I’ll browse Craigslist to try to find some adult sized ones.

I cant remember where I saw it but an online retailer had albino sterbai. I dont remember much about them but price seemed like it was triple what a regular sterbai was. I kind of wanted to get one to add to the group but I dont think they had any other thing I wanted.

Am super bored with my 300 at the moment. The bichir are logs that sit and do nothing 99% of the time so when the 1% happens and they swim around it super exciting, lol. The bals are cool looking but the best way to describe the personality is... one taco short of a combination plate. They have some personality but nothing like my cichlids. I am totally loving the largest bocourti in the growout tank. He is getting THICK like my old pearsei and I cant wait to see him color up. Probably another 6 months before I feel he has size enough to go into the 300.

Its a bit of a mixed bag. I love the 300 now with the big fake Universal Rocks and the scale of all the decor and fish sizes. Just missing the interactive cichlid in there.

Or find a bigger chocolate cochlid.

I noticed aquarium paradise had two nice looking green severums in a 75g, and then a tank of mangled severums that need to be culled.

Have you thought about adding a severum at all?

I like the super red and a tiger type. I just need to be patient and wait for the Bocourti

Very tough choice made today... @fishguy1978 contacted me about some Pearsei being available and I actually turned it down. I know Im going to regret this in about 8 months, lol. Im really hoping one of my bocourti turn out as the replacement fish Ive been wanting for the 300 but just not seeming to have quite the personality yet. Actually Ive kept them in the past and never got that outgoing cichlid personality from them. They were always more aloof.

I had to laugh. I'm glad @fishguy1978 asked first if I was interested before he sent the picture because if he sent the picture first I would have said yes. Awesome looking fish to the left. A bit rough on the fins but the stripes on the upper body and a big bulky build (guessing male) would have had me making room for a new fish, lol
