What did you do with your tank(s) today?

Yep, Oscars can eat! Thats my main concern with it in the 300. It would gorge on tilapia. That happened in the past with a red bay snook. It ate so much food it sat for like three days looking miserable and not moving. lol

I also noticed that the female trimac was cleaning a spot on a rock today. I am hopeful that maybe there is a spawn in the near future!
Look forward to that! She was a good looking female and you have a great looking male. Should be some really nice looking babies from them.

So I think we came to a conclusion then….. move the Oscar. Haha

I think I’m moving mine today.

Was going to mention that I wanted to catch and move the green phantom pleco from the 46g to the 65B with the hoplo and Bocourti but it went into hiding and the only way I was going to get it was to pull out everything, so for now he is still in there… he will be mine, lol

Stopped at Aquarium Paradise today and noticed some nice fish in there. A big RTM which I wonder might be the one @lloyd378 took in? It was looking a little skinny, wonder if it stressed being in such a small tank. They had 2 rope fish, a butterfly fish, a nice looking gold sev and one that looked like it might have some super red in it, a nice friendly wild Columbia oscar. Also they finally got a nice display tank set up for the dovii.

Yes, that’s my old male rtm that was killing everything here…. I had a local hobbyist but he flaked on me twice so I dropped him off at AP.

You know what would look good in my SA tank??? How about a bumble bee Oscar. Haha

I should mention that the “green terror” is actually andinoacara rivultus so I think it’s nickname is now considered the gold saum. Either way, it will only be with me for a bit as I don’t have long term plans for it, but I knew it would be cool in my classroom tank, which it was!

7 canister filter clean outs, and carbon, ammonia change out.
You have some nice filters there!

What are you currently keeping as I believe you recently got rid of some fish if memory serves me right.

I would love to get my hands on a wild Rivalatus or at least one with the big bright orange trim on the fins
