Well it took long enough but Petco completed my order and sent me a link for the $25 eCard. I go to use it and it shows up as $0.00 money on it. Now I have to call and see whats going on. I see so much potential in them as a company but generally I find Petsmart just does it a little bit better.

The wolf has not opened up yet. It has eaten a frozen krill here or there and today ate part of a silverside. But not yet associating me with food. I can see this will be a fun fish once it recognizes me as the feeder.

lol, didnt 'need' something that big, just was the only thing I could find with the four conductors I needed for my UV filter on the 300 gallon.

So a call into Petco about my eGift card was resolved quickly and my order was placed for more foods. Im fairly well stocked now on pellets for most of my tanks. I do need to get one larger sinking pellet for my bala sharks. I had been using Dainichi, which for them I may still order because it is the perfect sized pellet and with the coating pretty much a zero mess food.

Wow, that was quick. Good luck. Mine are eating 0.5mm fly pellets with some being 3/8in in size now.

I know, but to be honest, i don't do many side jobs only because i live over an hour (in good traffic) from where i work. i actually spend almost 12 hours away from home almost every day, so really not in the mood a lot of the time to work on the weekends.

Wandered into Ace to kill time while gf was in Joanns and scored 100lbs of pool filter sand on clearance for $15. It's a nice yellowish sandy(ha) color rather than the pure white sand I can only ever find. Have three empty tanks to set up, don't know which one it'll go in yet.

Finished up all my fish food shopping and stock up on dry foods and frozen for that matter for a while. Not really seeing any 'must haves' on the Black Friday sales but will check again tomorrow to see if anything that just beckons me to buy it. I have still debated replacing my 30g tank with a 40B... if so I would likely switch to an AquaClear 110. So a bit of a debate as to buying the filter first and have it as a spare until the upgrade. I hate my heater arrangement in the 300 and have been thinking of a possible change out to a Finnex titanium instead.

I decided to order new heaters for the 300. I have a mix of an Eheim and Fluval. They are working fine but I dont like how they look. I decided to keep them as back ups and replace with some new Finnex units.
