I just received an e-mail from Rare Fish USA about a shipment of wild Tanganyikans that is soon to arrive. It includes
Triglochromis otostigma, a beautiful biparental mouthbrooder that I kept years ago, and would love to re-acquire. These fishes dig elaborate tunnels in the mud floor in the lake, and can (sometimes) be coaxed into spawning in lengths of PVC tubing in captivity. These beefy fishes are compulsive diggers, so if you think a few shellies rearrange your substrate, you should see what a 5" pair of
trigs can do! Yikes! But do I have room?
