Ranchu update: Yesterday was 3rd day of treatment and I notice the redness gone from lateral line. A little spot looks swollen but with redness gone, looks like it might be going down. The fish has only been eating a medicated food for the past week and Im almost done with that batch. I ordered some of the Dr. Bassler Forte food to be able to feed the fish to see if it can boost the immune system as claimed. So far this treatment seems the most promising and I now feel confident that I may get the fish into the main tank in a couple weeks. The fish thankfully has been eating like a champ through this whole time.

As to the rest of the goldies, they are all very healthy and thriving. Cant believe how outgoing these fish are! Wondering if the addition of the ranchu to the 65B will make that tank a bit more 'friendly'. With just the three fish they just are not as outgoing as the five fish in the 90g. Hopefully I can move the ranchu over soon and find out.

Ranchu update: Fish has been looking pretty good for quite a few days now. The Hikari BiFuran+ has done the trick. Today will be the 7th and final dose of the medication. After that I will watch the fish for about a week with just regular water changes and then see how it progresses. If it is still clear after that, then it will go in its permanent home.
