I got them from Jeff Rapps when he owned TUIC, same time I got my Saggitae.
Ended up rehoming all the Carpinitis. Just got new owners of the my apartments, they were planning a huge remodel of my apartment so shut down all tanks save my Saggitae one.

In this thread I will be keeping a journal of the growth and development of my group of five h. Carpintis. I got them from Jeff Rapps. They are about 1.5in in size. Will be housed with some Roseline sharks that I have had for some time now. Hopefully when the Texans grow up they will ignore...
Xenotilapia singularis (formerly known as Xenotilapia ochrogenys Ndole). Another sparkling Xeno from the Tanganyikan sand floor, this one gets larger than most at about 5". I have a colony of ~18 young F1's, plus a few WC fishes, and am looking forward to keeping them as adults; some of the little males are already coloring up at ~2.5".
