What did you do with your tank(s) today?

Just got done water changing tanks, moving my fahaka to a 75g and my second trimac to a lower height 75 gallon ( I wanted the fahaka up top), then added dmd’s old arrowhead puffer to my custom 55 gallon 48x15x20” tank… he immediately hid under one of my spider wood pieces. When he becomes more comfortable I’ll snag some update pics for you all

Once that puffer settles in he is a vicious eater. I would feed him big nightcrawlers and he would chew them up, looked like a chainsaw went at it, lol. He is a fun little fish.

This weekend being wet and rainy made for a good fish weekend. ALL tanks were water changed which has been a challenge with all the yard work going on. Even got my 30 gallon ready to move trimacs over with dividers in place. Just need to add a little gravel, which should be coming in today, and that will secure the bottoms of the dividers. then I can start to separate those little monsters.

Finished modifying the CPR sump. I made a baffle to hold the sponge in place between the bio section and the pump, made lids, made a drain for the fry section into the bio section and made a light support for the little LED.
Because I always put everything away where it belongs I still need to drill a hole in the lid section that goes over the bio section :whistle

Not sure where my gravel order is, Fed Ex tracking does not show it and Chewy.com shows it going to Fife, then Federal Way, then Kent with nothing saying they have it out for delivery. So someone is having fun with this 50lb box of gravel, lol

I've got 100+ pounds of Aragonite if you want to set up an African cichlid tank... :whistle

Sure enough my gravel was delayed until tomorrow... hopefully it shows up. I was really wanting to get the dividers secured in place with gravel and move trimacs over tonight. Hate putting them in such small quarters, but its only temporary to get them healed up and then I can move them out for new stock.

My gravel shows that it made its way back to Dupont and is out for delivery. Warned the wife a 50lb package was coming. Looks like today I should be able to finish the trimac divided tank and work on my 65B with the sand. Cant wait to start getting some structure back into the garage stock. I feel like it all became about the trimacs when this was really intended to just be one fish being kept. I do have a buyer for my female RTM so I have space to move these little guys around.

My wife let me know the gravel arrived. She was able to have Fed Ex guy put inside of garage so she didnt have to deal with it.
Looks like I have a fish project tonight!

Got the 65B sand swapped out with the gravel. Also got the gravel in the 30 with the dividers. Moved trimacs out so that none are able to get at each other. Time to heal up the fins and start to sell off.
