What did you do with your tank(s) today?

Finally got around to making another lid for the 220g out of the scrap acrylic tank and cutting up the rest into usable pieces. I cut the overflow out as well just need to clean up the edges with the router.
Scored a small L104 clown and another pea puffer off CL.

Today was a clean up on the 300 with a gravel vac and some glass cleaning. The Petsmart devil and Sagittae have been going through motions like they want to breed. The water changes seem to dilute whatever hormones are going on for a bit but then they start up again in a few days. Looks like its time to rehome another female amphilophus.

The last few weeks have been so nerve-wracking that I got behind on my fish room chores, but I have been catching up slowly. Water changes on two 125's today.

Have a line on a new Xenotilapia species that I haven't kept before, but am having a problem figuring out where I'll put them. Why does it always seem that I'm just one tank short?

Same with me... had to catch up on tank maintenance today too ( I neglected them the last two weeks being busy with work).

gravel vac and 40% water changes on all 10 garage tanks.

then I even changed out the media on the HOBs on the 220 ( I know I told madness I would t get to them today, but then decided to just do it). Now I’m making beer brats for dinner and getting ready for a short week of work ( only two days!!!)

Got the 300 filled up to the 'water change' bulkhead. 2 high wattage heaters in there to heat the water up quickly. Need to still pipe the drain pipe then i can fill up completely. Got the sump drain pipe installed, need to finish the supply piping still. I should have this baby switched over to it's sump and ready for fish by end of week. Time for order#2. :)20201123_184121.jpg 20201123_184035.jpg 20201123_183956.jpg

Spent morning doing gravel vac/water change on the 90’s in the garage. Its amazing how much cleaner the glass and wood are in the tank with the bristle nosed and sailfin plecos. Now I really want a pleco for the trimac tank.

Just caught the Sagittae from the 300 and taking her into aquarium paradise.
