What did you do with your tank(s) today?

Sold another tank (40 breeder), said goodbye to "Pacumari"who went to a great dude who has 8-10 foot tanks with other large fish. Water changes for all tanks. Moved severum to now empty Pacu tank as he was being mean to polys during mealtime! Started a small tank of Triops (tadpole shrimp) with my youngest son. Took a 2 hour nap hehe

Have not forgot, just been back to work full time right now, so Im realizing just how precious time is. Im trying to squeeze in fish time but its been tough.
I know the feeling! Life can be demanding. That's exactly why I've been downsizing too... No rush on the wolf, it is yours and I will hold on to it indefinitely as long as you know you'll want it down the road. :)

Thank you, he is in the plans as soon as I get some time to thin things down and move fish around.

I will help you with any of the downsizing.....I know I can find good homes for the amphs ( when you are ready! And no, they won’t be mine, haha)

I feel like I should pull the bichirs out of the 300 and move growouts in. This way they have room to put on size and nothing to eat them. Then I can pick all the keepers.... or I can go down to just one amphilophus in the 300....

Got a couple water changes in this morning. Not good cleanings but at least some fresh water added to the garage tanks. Did the 30g and the 75g growout.

Edit: Afternoon involved cleaning the trimac's 75g and the arrowhead puffer's 65B.

Just the other 65B and the 300 to go this weekend.

Early morning water changes. Did a second change on the 75 growout and got the 65B done. So the garage tanks are caught up with fresh water. Haven’t scrubbed down the glass or cleaned algae off anything but at least clean water.

Too many summer outdoor yard projects and back to work has made the multiple tanks a bit challenging for sure.

Hope to get to the 300 next for a water change.

Edit: Yahoo, got the 300 gallon done too! Light gravel vac and cleaned glass so it looks pretty good.

I moved my 125g from the living room to the garage so that I could paint downstairs next week and then do flooring..... the tank was easy to move, the stand wasn’t! Haha65638B7F-DB2B-4C1E-963D-59B1619BDB5F.jpeg3D4546B0-3F59-4781-A947-BAD0245861F4.jpeg

I would like to put a six foot tank in its place as this one is a 5’ tank..... I’ll be watching for a 6’ 125 or 150 acrylic soon

My day was not fun.... working in the attic on our furnace and the whole heat pump system. Poor original install and leaking drain onto garage ceiling were part of the problem. The main issue was incorrect mounting of the unit, with the heating and cooling parts mounted opposite of the way they should be. This led to winters where it just didn’t feel warm. Essentially the heater was blowing over the cooling unit. This also meant the house would get ice cold with the AC during the summer.

Not necessarily fish related work for the day but does effect the garage fishroom. I had tapped into the vents and added vents to my garage to keep it comfortable.

Didn’t complete project today but will be done tomorrow. Thankfully I have a friend who works in the Heating/cooling field who helped me set it up right. Should make us and the garage fish more comfy when its done.

If your not totally opposed to glass... the Aqueon 125 at Petsmart goes on sale often. Good looking combo but I think it sits much lower than the 5 foot one you moved out.
