Doing a print for me. My first 4 color. I added some blue spots to the final layer to look like my Shubunkin.

Blue came in earlier than expected.

Printing some plugs for the new pond filter next, then maybe an out flow of some sort tomorrow after I mock everything up outside.

The large plug didn't work out. Exactly 22mm including the head. But I found a skimmer that I can make work better than my original plan.

Noice, plus I'm reusing waste and support structure full of crevices as bio balls :)

Hah! Found and modified the missing link. Just glue that end to the skimmer and easily disassemble for maintenance. Modified hose sprayer to use threaded hose attachments.

Just an interesting fact for you guys. Having been asked to help with the forum has been interesting. Its amazing how many spammers are trying to get in. I have to reject at least one or two in the approval queue every day. The other day was quite a shock when there was 38 new ones trying to sign up. Of those one seemed legitimate and was let in and so far no spam on here… but first time I saw that many at one time.

It seems that increasingly the internet is a jungle that brings out the worst in people. Thanks for your efforts in keeping this place as sane as it is. :thumbsup
It's been a problem. On the Subaru board it was several daily. Always a race to see who responded and banned first lol

Hmmm wonder if it was fallout from this. A last ditch attempt to try and cover up while under investigation or another company trying to make inroads.

Yes, I just rejected two this morning….

A few years back, I switched it from email confirmation to admin approval as the scammers were starting to take the extra steps to get approved .

What exactly does a spammer gain from joining a forum? Is it just to gain access and possibly get more data from within? Or something else?

Usually what ends up happening are dozens of posts appearing for whatever supplement, porn sites or whatever the spammer is trying to promote. Likely click on their links to get to various sites where they may get money for these connections or purchases. Wouldn't doubt some sort of trackers get installed when you click on to the sites...

Got all the skimmer and drain parts printed, trimmed etc... I really want the top at 11cm but the generic fittings I have are a bit oversized. Won't be able to find out until it's setup with a pump going, but I think it will be fine as is. The end result will have a debris prefilter then the bed will have spots for aquaponics before ending at the skimmer. Going to remove the rushes from the pond as they just suck up water and nutrients and the bed will feed strawberries for once lol. The willow is a big consumer too, but it contributes medicine for the water and me plus weaving materials. The rushes only provide fibers for weaving while taking tons of water and nutrients to make more fiber that is weaker than nettles. I'll yank those out of this pond and feed them to the nettles lol

I feel like one of those Murphy's law things is going on. My red wolf is looking pretty rough and has been showing sign of its age and is acting like it might pass. At the same time I needed food for it and it is $25 a bag and I just bought it and opened it. This is the only fish that eats this pellet... So Im thinking I will have a dead fish soon and an almost new bag of food, lol.

This fish has cataracts and has had difficulties already in eating but now is showing disinterest in food and is hanging out a lot at the surface, just floating. Im just at that point where Im wondering if I should let it pass naturally or if it should be euthanized. It really has been a fun fish to have and I would seriously consider replacing it with another if it does pass but Im really tired of solo fish and have enjoyed my community set ups much more. I will give it a little more time and see if things improve with a couple water changes.

But it’s only a couple years old!?
