I don’t require masks as a great philosopher once said “Men in masks cannot be trusted” right before he was choked out by a masked man :rofl
Hey, off topic but how long does it usually take your multies to mature from fry?

Yah, so I don’t know. Uhm, my 55g has new fry from the adults I just rehomed so they will be the base line I guess. My main colony(100g) has been running for 2yrs now and they are the offspring from 15 originals that I sold to @sir_keith a year ago ish.

I think for most of us ... it probably takes a while for them to grow out, but if it were DMD I’d guess with his tank maintenance that they could go from fry to adults in like 8-9 months!

A coworker is transitioning from fresh to salt so he gave me his fish. 2 female Kribensis, 2 SAE, 20ish harlequin rasboras, a pair of BNP (albino female) and 4 tiny Cory cats.

Ha! Dr. Leonard McCoy, in the original Star Trek series episode 'The Trouble with Tribles'-

"As far as I can tell, they're born pregnant..."

:lol:lol:lol

BTW, if anyone is interested, I have a cute little setup that would be great for kids- a stand and two 10-gallon tanks; add a few Multi's and some shells, and voilà, the mystery of procreation!

...I found a fellow on MFK who breeds Notatus

https://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/threads/severum-heros-notatus.713086/#post-8046287

Even if you aren’t on FB you can still see his pictures of his gorgeous fish

Just to be clear, you can see pics of these fishes on MFK, but not on FB, unless you are a member. Which I would never never never never do. :coffee:coffee:coffee

Pretty, pretty fishes. :)

@fishguy1978, just noticed Wet Spot has Heros liberifer in stock. These are a bit smaller than the one you got but they are wild caught....

I did see those. I’m waiting to hear back from the MFK breeder on shipping. He has both Notatus and Liberifer. His Liberifer are indexed but larger that Wet Spot.
If he sets up an account with Southwest he has to have a site inspection that has a fee based on distance from the airport. Southwest quoted me $50 for a 12in cube at 25lbs. FedEx is over $200 for overnight of same package.

Word of caution here- I have found that Southwest consistently gives you an optimistic assessment of the cost, and my experience has been that packages of live fishes about that size are usually closer to $100 than $50.
