Been there, I introduced two wild caught fish into an established tank. Almost wiped out the entire tank with some sort of internal parasite thing.
I'd like to suggest that if you keep 4-5 SAE's you will have pretty fishes that are both very active and 'essential.' These are schooling fishes and do best when kept in groups. I just shot this (lousy) pic to make my point; it is a close-up from one of my 125's, and you can see that all 6 of the SAE'e in this tank are hanging out together. You can also see a couple of points I made in an earlier post about the SAE's; namely, their lightly pigmented fins, and the median black stripe that extends all the way into the tail. These particular SAE's are ~2.5" TL....likely a SAE coming soon...
