Okay, Im ready to take the plunge. Went to Petco and picked up a "medium' black lava rock for $4.99. It was pretty sizeable so I took a chisel to it and made it into 3 separate pieces. I then took off the sharp edges and prepped the two I am using for now. There is one more piece of rock if I find something else. I now need to get some gel glue and set them. But this is the beginning...

Black rock should look perfect with the sand in the puffer tank.

My plastic spiral cord organizer to protect the heater cord also chewed on.

Finally got my hands on a 75. Sold out everywhere and hard to find second hand. Had to drive a bit but it's gonna be worth it. Don't worry, that is NOT the stand it's going on.

What are you doing for a stand? I need to get/ make one for a 75 going in my living room, but the LFS sell those pressboard stands and I want a nice solid wood one

So I'm actually using a template someone posted in the thread I think you made. Just 2x4 and then covering it with some plywood and painting it.

Ive built plenty of those 2x4 stands, they are built to hold serious weight. You should post a tank stand build with photos in the diy section.

The Raphael cat looks like some alien bug out of the water. I never even see mine. It has dug out a little spot under the spiderwood tangle and on occasion I see a rustle.

Stopped by Aquarium Paradise and dropped off two shubunkin fish I had acquired. Didnt buy anything just the drop off of the fish.

This week my goal is to rehome fish I have got that were not in my original plans and try to move my big pleco over to my trimac tank.
