@fishguy1978 Looks like all the work I just got finished doing. The fishroom is looking nice. I like that dark color on the walls too.

Looks good! I am happy to see a fellow cinder block fan :)Shimming between blocks is actually smart. Some of the ones I use have pretty big gaps!

Because of the slope of the floor for the drains there is a .25in+ difference between the front left peer and the one against the wall. It was easier to level the front peer by shimming at the floor and then between blocks to make up that difference. The right side is not dead level but close enough that I did not need shims. I may shim the platform as the is an 1/8in ish drop to the front.

I think you dodged a bullet here: moving them so early during pair bond formation can be very risky, but it looks like you got away with it (for now). Are you planning to add some dithers and more hiding places, just in case?

Not sure if it’s pair forming or territorial aggression. Her treatment of him is still chasing and nipping a bit. I would like to add more wood and rocks.

From the short video you posted I would say this is pair bond formation, as territorial aggression is much more, well, aggressive. Think of those little fin nips as love bites. :)
