Thanks for the offer. I have a 48” LED Finnex and a 48” LED Current USA. I just need to order new power supply for each. I may even order a 72” Beamswork as they are pretty reasonable priced.
I have two 72" Beamswork DA fixtures and like them very much, especially when fitted with the optional dimmer/timer module ($15 each). The only downside in a fixture this long is they do tend to sag a bit in the middle. I fixed that problem by fitting a small plexiglas support in the center of each fixture. That said, if I had to do it again I might go with two 36" fixtures for each 72" tank so I could control the lighting independently in each end of the tank.

Good to know. I have considered using two.

The silver dollars look perfect in that tank. Plenty of room for them in there.

I was considering a dither fish but these guys are active enough that I’m not going to add any small fish. Just the bronze cories and the flag tail porthole cats.

And some more. All the Val in the bowfront is intended for the 220g but the root systems on each plant need to be better.

These 2 are the sacrificial offerings. If they survive then I will try adding more.

I need to start robbing plants from some of the other tanks to add to the 90g now that the SD are out.

Tanks are looking great! Any plans to add anything with the silver dollars? A nice chocolate cichlid? Severum? Some angels?

Not at this time. I would like to add some more bronze corys.
I've always liked species tanks, and the silver dollars look awesome in the 220. I wonder if they would leave Java Fern alone; most fishes won't touch this stuff.

@sir_keith once the wood has soaked long enough to sink I will be trying java fern and moss.

That will be nice. I'm thinking that once you have the Java moss established you might have some spawning activity going on. I don't personally know anyone who has raised silver dollars, but the little ones must be as cute as (silver) buttons!
