Totally agree, my 2 girls ( Miniature Schnauzers) and 2 boys (desert lynx and highland lynx) were not cheap and well worth every penny. They are my kids. As for fish, it's my pleco collection. Several cost over $100.

I currently have around 40 Amphilophus Chancho fry. And like Lloyd, I have Red Devils, Barred Midas, Sagittae that breed all the time but I just leave them in the tank and they eventually get eaten.

Thanks for reaching out. I am still wanting to do this but I have several (like 20) amphilophus to get rid of first. Then change up the aquascape. I am probably a month or so out before I am ready to start adding new fish.
