It’s been a while since everyone updated what they are currently keeping. I think it would be great for us to share what we currently have.

I’ll start….yes, petstore nicknames work too, even if they aren’t labeled correctly.

Second edit: And somehow I missed the 30g "muck" tank about 1/3 full of water and detritus with a lot of duckweed and a chunk of rotting hazel covered in moss for tadpoles and salamanders.

Added 4 additional neon blue rasboras a few weeks ago but lost one due to net injury - at least that's what I assume, as it did have a shredded tail before it disappeared by the second morning. But at least the other five are fat and happy even if they have to endure a panda garra dropping into the middle of them on occassion!

EDIT: Changes to my stock as of 1/24/25

300g Astronotus Crassipinnis, Pearsei, Bala Shark, Setiger silver dollar x8
90G Red Spot Severum x3, Boesemani rainbow x 7, Albino Hoplo cat x4, Albino BN pleco
90G Tri-Color Rosetail Oranda, Shogun Calico Oranda, Golden Yuan Bao, Red and White Lionchu x2
65B Panda Yuan Bao, Ranchu, Milk cow calico Ranchu, Dragon eye pearlscale
65B Red wolf fish
46G Bowfront EBJD, chubby pleco, Madagascar rainbow x1
Fluval Flex 32.5 Hairy puffer
20H Quarantine tank Calico/Tiger Yuanbao Oranda
Bowl Betta

So the main changes are the fact I have a betta in a bowl, this came about because of the fact that it was too much current in a community tank with a HOB filter. The poor thing lost all its long fins and now is in a bowl to heal and see if the fins will come back. It really does need a bigger home. Maybe a 2.5 gallon in the future? The other change is the fact I added a QT tank. I really do not intend for this to be another permanent tank, it is a temporary QT/Hospital tank as needed.

I have to say my favorite out of these is my 90g goldfish tank. There is just so much color and activity in this tank.

I have to say, I don't see the logic here. It seems to me that a proper quarantine/hospital tank is one that's already set up and ready to go at a moment's notice. We all have the urge to fill all of our tanks with fishes, but I always have at least one tank that is unoccupied and ready for the unexpected.

I have a feeling my stock will change soon which will also mean changing out a tank. I have been unhappy with my Fluvel flex and am think of replacing in with a standard 40B. I also get the feeling my Red wolf is getting along and may not last much longer either. This will open up some tanks for movement and then there will not really be the need for the 20 gallon. Likely the 40B would just become a QT hospital since Im kind of done filling every tank with permanent inhabitants. Plus, if I need to move a bigger fish from the 300, then a 40B will likely work as a hospital.

Also a bit tired of the solo wet pets with the puffer, red wolf, and ebjd all kind of having their own tanks. Probably looking to reduce stock in the 90g community tank, 3 sevs are going to be too much for that tank. As mentioned red wolf looking old and haggard... Stock changes are coming again

Poor boy! :( :( 2.5 gal sounds like a good step up as he's healing, and maybe permanent home if the fins never grow back. If they do grow back he'd probably like a 5 gal to himself eventually, with some snails and a low-flow filter of some type, like a sponge - I don't imagine he'd like going back into the community tank. Fishtamin vitamins in the water help heal, too.

I love the pictures of your goldfish, btw. Really makes me want a big tank with goldies again! But that ain't happening - apartment rules ya know!

It sounded like paradise for my betta… a wonderful 46g bowfront with very easy going tankmates. But the constant fight with the current from the HOB was just too much. His long fins were just too delicate. He currently looks like a female betta…

In his glory in the petstore cup still
