Fence all done!

When weather allows, will stain fence like the one along the right hand side of yard. Really cant tell that there is about a 6 inch change in grade across the span. The boards by the shed are longer to keep the fence consistent in height. Super happy with the outcome. Im kind of motivated to take on the moving of sprinkler heads now... well at least when it warms up a little.

I did some extra yard clean up over the weekend while things were dry. Just edged along the driveway with the string trimmer, blew off the porch and patio, and cleaned up a few extra leaves. I have some new gutter splash blocks I need to put in place but im waiting for it to warm up, and no motivation because they are concrete and heavy, lol.

I talked with the guy who did my fence about coming back and finishing up my sprinklers for me. Not that I cant do it but a trencher is just so much faster than the shovel method I would have to do. I need to move 3 heads and add 3 in another area. A project that can wait till the ground thaws!

Yard work? Not today! Perfect day to get a fire going in the kitchen, perhaps make a pot-au-feu whilst listening to Pink Floyd. My kittens are mesmerized by the snow!
