What is 'dry planting?'
Tank is empty and only the substrate is wet. It provides the plants an opportunity to grow roots prior to submerging.
I think there’s an 1in of water above the substrate in the tank. I also added a thin layer of peat under the sand. The sand is from the 220g and has sat in buckets for several weeks and stinks. There will be quite a bit of ammonia released.

I found 3 more banjo cats in the 29g tanks and moved them over to the 125g. There are now 15 total in there.
I have removed all the fish from the rack system and started moving some of the sand over to the 125g as well.

The ghost was at one end of the 125g during feeding time. I added some live grindal worms and it went crazy for them.
Hey, are you still breeding anything?

I’m in search of some juvenile plecos and possibly some guppies for a ten gallon breeding thing I want to do.
