I keep going back and forth on getting something like that for the feedings before they start to "hibernate" for the winter. I had some issues the first few years, so I stopped feeding in October. But they still pick at duckweed and such. They don't need it, but I like tossing in some food when we get those nice couple days of weather and they're out.

Probably should add my fish food lol
For the Endlers they get whatever is cheapest in bulk that isn't garbage. There's like 12 tanks to feed lol
The Bettas get frozen bloodworms and live food. The diet varies by season, but I try to be able to feed live foods year round if I can stop crashing colonies. I have a 30 setup for live food that currently has tadpoles growing out. Once they're gone I'll add some more water and keep harvesting wild microfauna to stock it. Hopefully that will be more stable with 15-20 gallons in 30 gallons of surface space.

I've been using Ken's fish food lately and everything I have gotten from there I'm happy with it. I recommend checking out the web site. It's called Ken's Fish on Google.

An update of sorts... The hard (Impossible) to find DR. BASSLEER 3XL pellet!

Just got my Super Cichlids order in and they are great about giving samples too!

Jar smaller than expected

The pellets are BIG!

I threw a couple into the tank with the large cichlids and they immediately ate them with no issues. The pellets are kind of light and you would almost expect them to float but they sank pretty quickly. Kind of a bit powdery coating on it but doesnt make too much of a mess. Of course now the issue is that they really dont have any more of this size in the container size and formula I got. They had a bigger container available but only in the 'Green' formula. Works fine fine with my pearsei but other formulas would be much higher desired for other fishes. EDIT: Went back to look at the 680g container and they are now out of that... so NO MORE 3XL PELLETS! UGH
I get all of my Dr. Bassleer food from Kens. My fish love it

Morning:
-Alternating daily between Northfin Betta Bits and Nano pellets (Surprisingly Ryan likes the Betta pellets a lot even tho they're nearly half the size of her head, while Sai likes the Nano better XD ); crumbled Aqueon flakes

Evening:
-Fluval Bug Bites 3x a week, Hikari frozen bloodworms 3x; daphnia for the younger rasboras

For Parona and Crawley once daily:
-alternates between Hikari mini algae wafers, canned carrot, and boiled cucumber (neither likes peas, if anyone is wondering. Eventually we'll try other veggies, too). Parona, of course, gets the majority.

Friday:
-Nada! But Parona does do an excellent job of scrubbing algae on this day!

Also I add Fishtamin to the water every night (or early morning if I forget). My theory is that its what's kept Sai's fins in such good condition despite being a dragon, and they're also as of this month showing significant amounts of yellow again instead of the black/gray and platinum they had turned into.

Added NF Fry food for the blue rasboras. I wish it came in the same tiny 20g bags as the betta and nano bites; had to transfer it to a jar because having to stick my whole hand in a 50g bag just to get a tiny pinch is quite unwieldy. I couldn't tell if they were getting any of the flake food, but they're quite happy to come to the fore for this stuff and Ryan doesn't get most of it (while she's also stealing betta bites and algae wafers).

Added canned carrot slices (drained and frozen) and baby cuke slices (bought at the B'ham Farmers Market then sliced and frozen), alternating once a week to keep Parona (panda garra) satisfied. The farmers were amused I was specifically buying a baby cuke for a fish, so I need to show them video of her happily munching and flipping it. :D
