The big deals last year had to be at Foster and Smiths with Eheim canisters selling at about half the normal cost! Also Petmountain offering free shipping at $25 was pretty good.

and here is one more to watch...Amazon has been running some super Black Friday Deal Week sales ...they pop up for purchase at different times but you can see what is coming in a preview ...I just found this one which is coming in about 2 hours from now. So if you missed the e-bay special sales on these (rates as low as $60-70) then maybe this one will come close. Don't know until they put it up for purchase. Happy shopping

Was it just me or were the Black Friday ads kind of lame this year? At least for us fish keepers.

With all the hype last year on Foster and Smiths I was hoping to get an extra back up heater to have around, but nothing was cheap enough to merit me spending money on something that was just going to sit in case of an emergency. I did get a few needed items like bonded filter pad, replacement impeller shaft and what not at petmountain because of the free shipping at $25, but that was it.

Most of these sales will continue for Cyber Monday, but pretty lame this year for us fish keepers.

pretty lame for me too, I was expecting to see ehiem filters for half off from Fostersmith, last yr was unbelievable, and was eyeing on that deal again..

the only good deal i got was hikari seaweed pellets from petsmountain, with free ship over $25. My saltwater fishes loves these, expecially my tangs.

No good LED light deals anywhere. Prices will continue to fall.

I will continue to ship in saltwater fishes based on pre-orders only. I have one coming in tommorow or tuesday. Still time to add to the order (deposit required first)
