Lucky bamboo and pea puffer fish tank experiment

I'm doing a trial run of a lucky bamboo forest tank. Aesthetically I can tell this will be an awesome route. Fishiologically... I am not 100% sure where this will go. I did a big water change before placing the bamboo (to pick up snail shells) so I couldn't vac the broken roots. Will clean up it up better soon.

What do you guys think? Will this work long term?

I've had lucky bamboo planted in one of my tanks and sticking out the top like that (the betta sorority tank) for about 7 months and it's doing fine Tom. I like the look of it...bamboo forest. Sweet!!!

looks sweet!!! And should do fine. I've seen videos of tanks with them fully submerged and someone saying they'd been that way and fine for over a year. half submerged like this they'll be perfect!!
