Indoor / Classroom plants

I couldn’t find an appropriate section to show off my indoor plants….. I was going to do it in the yard work post, but it just didn’t seem to fit.

Anyways, I’m going to share some pictures of the plants I keep in my English classroom. Currently, or right before I went on break this week, my orchard cactus was blooming ( a rescue plant from my moms friend), and so was the orchard a kiddo asked me to save last year when they found it with one leaf and bare roots sitting outside the dumpster at their apartment complex…..

I’ll also share some pictures of my other classroom plants ( somewhere between 35-40 plants)

Funny you should ask…. Last year, my English class and I were evaluating claims for argumentative writing and the topic of the TikTok shop came into play…. After talking about it and me saying that it was a ripoff and you don’t get what you order, the kids and I decided to order a plant of the shop.

I used a prepaid debit card and ordered a plant called “alien eggs”. When we first got it; it was white, then changed to blue, and now it is a green color. It bloomed last year too when it shot a thin stock up into the air about 2 feet. It had tiny little flowers on it. Super cool. I was also proven wrong about the shop. Haha
