The Greater Seattle Aquarium Society runs a Home Show every year in which a group of GSAS members serve as judges, and they visit a number of Members' homes over two days to see and judge their aquaria. Mostly it's a way to meet other hobbyists. Here is a link to a Vimeo link with a 48-minute presentation of last year's event- GSAS Home Show 2023
Last year I signed up to do this, but was bumped from the list because I live in Poulsbo, and that makes for travel complications with the ferry etc. (although they did visit @Orthopod over on Hood Canal the prior year). I signed up again this year, but have been told that unless other members on this side sign up as well, they will not be coming over to Kitsap. So if any of you are GSAS Members and would like to help me lure them over to our side, here is the link to sign up- (GSAS Home Show sign-up), as well as an archive of previous events (GSAS Home Show Archive). It really would be nice to get more activity over here.
