These mature beauties need a new home!

IMG_2859.jpeg

I’ve had them since they were about 3” and due to unexpected family obligations they need someone who can change their water more often than I’ve been able to. They are about 10-12” and will need at least a 125 gallon tank; preferably larger.

If you don’t have anything to transport them in, I’ll give you a container so you can get them to their new forever home.

Bumping this because these fish need a new home and the closest store to me won’t take them as orphans :-(

Anyone?

Its tough to rehome large fish. There are few stores that want to take them and you want the best for these fish so you really dont want to deal with Craigslist people looking for freebee's that you are sure wont give them a better life.

In my area there is Aquarium Paradise that can take on larger fish but Lakewood is a bit of a distance away from you. Midway Tropical Fish might take them but again quite a distance away from you. Have you tried Farmland in Silverdale?

With so many big-fish people here, I'm surprised no one has scooped these up. Obviously not in my wheelhouse, but it would be great to see these fishes go to a good home.

My big tanks are housing fish that would unfortunately kill these beauties …. Otherwise, I would scoop them up!

My tank is already full with just the right stock to be able to maintain. Any more fish in there and I would have to increase water changes by an extra day or two. At least my Oscar and Pearsei wouldnt kill them!
