As for me no hybrids except the 2 OB peacocks and the OB fuelleborni (from Anthraxx). Nothing special like some of you guys hiding in the tanks.

Cory thats a beautiful fish.

Wouldn't most ALL Angelfish fall into this category?!

Yup. Angels too. My ob peacocks look any other ob peacock.  But here you go.

I did not create this fish, this fish was saved by me when it was young. :cheers: :shock: :suspect: 8)

When I first started keeping African cichlids many years ago, I had some hybrids that I bought as pure M. greshakei, (drab in color as fry) but as they matured, it became obvious that they weren't pure. :x I'm still living with a few of them! I don't save any fry, but once in a while there is a survivor like this guy.

This one was a cross of S. fryeri and A. calliptera.  The male fryeri had females of his own species, but still he was always trying to spawn with the calliptera females as well.  Back then, I didn't think they would cross breed if they were of a different genus and had others of their own species to spawn with.

Now I do mostly species only tanks! I don't trust these fish!
